Design a Logo for a new MakerSpace in Bangkok

Bangkok is getting a MakerSpace soon and we need a logo.
I guess most people will know what a makerspace is but for the ones who don't you can have a quick read on http://makeamakerspace.eventbrite.com/ and http://makerspace.com/
I would like the Logo to represent both Bangkok and the Maker community.
There are no color restrictions as long as both words Bangkok and MakerSpace are readable.
It should look great on a T-shirt, both large and small. And it will be used as a sign on the door and wall.
Maybe also a special 'Maked in Bangkok' mini version for on a sticker so that it can be used on things instead of the "Made in xxxxxx" that you see on products.
I would like to see the Logo in combination with short texts for on a t-shirt like "I Make it in Bangkok". "Bangkok Maker", "Made in China, but hacked by me" and if you have a nice one please add them.

If you can work a OSHW logo into it or a 'power' symbol that would be a plus.

Please no Bhudda images, skulls, manga type graphics.

Delivered files must be in vector format. SVG, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.

    Although elephants, tuk tuks, buddhas, mangoes etc refer to Bangkok and Thailand and are nice to see, it is not really working when the makerspace itself is IN Bangkok. All those symbols' are working great to promote Thailand/Bangkok as a tourist place.
    A makerspace has to have it from technology, learning and sharing and especially making! Being in Bangkok is irrelevant!
    Makerspaces are all over the world, adding the word Bangkok is to distinguish from others and best can just be a word.
    A logo that has an abstract part or depicts some of those keywords would have a better chance of winning this contest.

    Please understand that in Thailand it is not proper to use a Buddha image for anything else then religious use.
    It is not even allowed!

    VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE!
    I just received a cease and desist using the Bangkok Hackerspace name. It seems someone already registered it.
    So we need to change the name into Bangkok MakerSpace.
    It actually reflects better what we want to do because it is not so much about hacking software but hacking hardware and building things. I will update the brief right away!
    I am very sorry for the inconvenience, it was unforeseen as we did the research if the name was free. It seems they only come out of their dormant state when someone wants to actually use the name.

    I forgot to seal it. Has been done.
    The deadline is 1 December because the first Meetup will be on 11 December.
    It is still in the forming phase so we don't know what ages and preferences people have.
    We suspect that it will not be any different then other hackerspaces.
    Having something that attracts the 18-35 crowd seems ok.
    Older ones (including me) that still hack are going with the times anyway.

    Looks nice sofar.
    But please follow the breif because it mentions:
    There are no color restrictions as long as both words Bangkok and Hackerspace are readable.
    So please include Bangkok in the logo.
