We require some designed banners which will be used for different product category pages in an ecommerce store.

******PART OF MULTIPLE CONTEST PROJECT******
We have live contests for each category banner we require. Please see other contest we have, to enter those also. All banners required are listed below but THIS contest is only for entries the "RUNNING" category.

The spec has been provided in the attached jpg file.

IMAGES FOLDER
Some images have been provided in attached folder which may be of use unless you can find better images via a stock photo membership service/royalty free to achieve a really great design for particular category.

EFFECTS EXAMPLES FOLDER ATTACHED
The folder includes some screenshots which shows the type of effects we would like used. The title of each example shows the effect description.

Explanation of types of effects needed on banners.
1. motion lines, blurring but subject in focus
2. graphics overlay effect with numbers e.g angle rotation, floor circles contact points. motion trail, joint/bone highlights, force/impact highlighting, swipes (hope this makes sense)
3. smoke effect
4. banners where you may use a floor, you could try effect with floor grid, neon, like nike fuelband example provided.
5. part of athlete with wireframe overlay. Really like this effect.
6. You are welcome to remove the model from the background and place in background of just effects or a relevant environment. Example: Footballer on field pitch or Tennis player on tennis court.

BANNER SPECIFICATION
1. Width 970px Height 350px minimum

2. Each banner should contain fade to black on each side.

3. Files provided should be unflattened. Each layer should be fully editable.

4. You must provide a document containing the source location of any images you use which are different to the ones provided in attached folder. If a location cannot be provided, then the raw original file will be provided. We need to ensure that no actual athletes/celebrities/olympians are used to avoid any lawsuits.

5. Provide file in psd or png (unflattened) format

NOTE: We will be adding comments to the messaging board with additional feedback. tweaks and effects/entries we really like. Please review the message board often to get updated direction which will improve your chance of winning the contest. More than 1 entry are welcome which will give you more chance to win and we may like you to apply the effects in another contest which will allow you to win other contest also. Only royalty free images or those sourced via a membership to a stock photography service will be accepted.

Some quick feedback - we do not require any special design for the "Running" text or lorem ipsum. We just need to have space on the left side of the banner to insert our specially designed text post-project. Hopefully this will save you time, to submit more entries with different different concepts/effects. Thanks
