I am building a cybersecurity business that teaches people to protect themselves from cyber criminals and remain private in a post Snowden America. As such, I need a logo that exemplifies the essence of my business with a single glance. I do not have any images to provide as a reference, but here is a list of keywords that you can use to design this logo:
Cyberscecurity
Locks
Privacy
Internet
Coding
a dark figure with their face obscured by a hoodie
Shields
Walls
Cables / networks
Fingerprints
Mobile devices
laptops
computer screens
the dark net

This list is by no means comprehensive but it should give you a solid starting point. I am open to a lot of different ideas as I'm not quite sure what I want, but I do know what I DON'T want. Any of the following will disqualify you from this contest:
Text of any sort
Anything that looks cartoony or like clip art
Green floating programming text a la matrix (cliche and overdone!)

Here is a short list of things that will earn you bonus points:
A dark shade of colors or a good contrast between dark and light colors (monochromatic designs are good too)
A lock and a key OR
A shield or a wall that is somehow defending against "The Internet"

I am not looking for anything super fancy, the logo does not have to seem like it was design by committee. When in doubt, focus on creating something simple and minimalist that, again, just clearly conveys what my business is about.

This is my first time every asking for a logo design but I have done my best to provide everything someone may need to get started, please let me know if you would like more information or need more direction.

If I am satisfied with your design you can expect more work in the near future.
