I am launching a new business in the homemade alcool making, specifically limoncello (it's an Italian digestive made with lemons) and I need a logo for that in all possible formats.
The firm name is "Del Dottore" (in Italian it means "by the doctor").
I would like to have a fresh and cool logo. I don't like vintage design, I really want something "new".

Consider this as an initial project, there will be much to do on the graphical side after that.

Last but not least, I have a preference in graphic designers that can speak both french and English (our printing partners speak only french).

I am seeing a lot of references to "medical doctor", I would like more to go in the direction of the "scientist" instead (doctor in this case is related to PhD, not to medical doctor).
On the other side using the "+" symbol is acceptable to me, as this business is based in Switzerland

  My audience is 20-40 years old programmers, engineers or managers, who are looking for something fun. So they are somehow pro, but they are looking to something fun to cheer up a bit!
  I guess that "tech geeks" is probably the concept that better represents them, but not only :) hope this is clear.
