Good morning, Here I am sending my proposals for your living and dining room. The biggest problem to solve here is the place for the fireplace and its installation. TOPIC FIREPLACE There are 2 possibilities. Solution 1 = Fireplace in the dining room. It has the advantage of a clean installation without problems and that the space between the dining and living room is fluid.(like now) The main disadvantage is that you can't enjoy the fireplace while sitting on the couch... Solution 2 = Fireplace in the living room. The advantage is that the fireplace is located in the right place, enjoying it while sitting on the couch. This solution creates a spatial separation between the living and dining room. Although this should not be seen as a problem. Well, with the assumptions of modernity and functionality of the space my idea was to give the space some character.
Starting with the living room, the first thing was to choose a large sofa in a neutral color so I can contrast its size with adding smaller objects with strong personality (given by the shape, color and texture)
I suggest two possibilities for the election of the big couch,
a) linear 3-seater sofa with + oval table with wired supports.
b) "L" form armchair with space to lie down in, takes more space but I see pretty consistent in the idea of having the fireplace in the living. (Accompanied by a small square table)
Smaller objects with personality contrasting with the large sofa are the red chair and the shelves for books in the same color.
In the non-perpendicular wall, I suggest to making an "art-space" witch support objects like paintings, sculptures.... as well also a small space for a computer.- il y a 10 ans
