I think the overall design is alright, but some changes could improve things. I'd like to see more use of colors (green, black, blue, orange, etc.). Also, I don't care for the graduation cap. I'd like to see symbols that represent learning for all students of different ages because not all students on the site will be about to graduate. Finally, a trendier/more interesting font would be great.
