One more attempt

This time it's not human race vehicles. Kinda alien or whatever. As for the land unit, I thought that with such level of technologies, it would be not very wise to move over the surface. So my vision of "tank" is hover unit. Waiting for your comments. Regards

I made some new comments below, and also can you provide screenshots of the low poly versions, without textures?

You probably won't need this amount of polygons unless you will be making some intro movies. Everything depends on your needs. Will the game have ability to zoom in and out? If yes, then all the models should have few variations with different amount of polygons. Also, will there be a possibility to move camera in different directions? If no, then there's no need in bottom polygons that are not able to see from the user's point of view. So could cut 20%-40% of total poly count. Well, that's a big topic, and once you choose the suitable model look, you will need to provide a bit more information regarding the game.

Your questions are part of the process which needs to be discussed with the developer who will talk to me about the game engine of choice. Once the developer and I discuss goals, we will use as many features as we can for the chosen game engine and remove any performance killing ideas where possible.

Lights and glowing parts? No problem! So does it mean that the game will have the change of night and day?

There is a chance for both night/day, and even "fog of war" where units out of range become invisible or covered in a layer of black smog..

Thanks for your comment! Glad to know you've liked it. As for the polygon number, the situations is as follows: the original models are low poly, and then I added few levels of smooth effects. The difference is huge. For example, the original hover vehicle has 642 polys, and after 2 levels of smooth it became almost 15000 polys. Manta has from 640 polys to 8800 polys. Shark aircraft - 450 to 16000 polys.

I hope these are low poly because they look so good! The alien race faction will probably have these units or very similar. I like the look. very impressive work. One looking like a Manta Ray and one looking like a Shark.. but I cannot tell for sure which is more air or more water based.. or if both are water.. they just look so cool.
HINT: If these units are chosen, there will be a good chance that future modifications will add lights or glowing parts to make the unit look good at night..
The ground units are inspiring and will be used as prototypes for more modifications but look very alien, and very futuristic as they are now. As always, final poly count and performance reasons may be needed for final versions.
