Power Electronics and Control Engineer

As a Power Electronics and Control Engineer, I've gained valuable experience of 3 years working on various projects in the field. These projects have helped me develop strong technical skills, particularly in modeling, simulation, and control of power converters and electric machines. I'm excited to bring this expertise to the table and collaborate with you to turn ideas into solutions. During my experience I have worked on many projects as : - Simulation of a synchronous machine excitation connected to the grid, including control, stability, and performance study : It involves controlling the excitation of the rotor of a synchronous compensator to generate or absorb reactive power in order to stabilize the electrical grid. - Three-phase rectifier control with sinusoidal current absorption PFC : It involves controlling a three-phase rectifier with 3 IGBT arms to achieve AC-DC conversion with a power factor close to 1. -Single-phase rectifier control with sinusoidal current absorption PFC : It involves controlling a boost converter located after a diode bridge to achieve AC-DC conversion with a power factor close to 1. -Integration of a Photovoltaic installation into the electrical grid : Firstly, design and control of a Boost converter with MPPT to extract maximum power from the installation, then control a three-phase inverter to synchronize and integrate the installation into the electrical grid. -Control of battery pack charging by a PV installation : It involves to design and control of a Buck converter to achieve a CC-CV (constant current-constant voltage) charging mode for a battery pack. -Design and control of an electronic system for the protection of electrical cables for vehicle charging stations : It involves designing an electronic circuit and a software program to assist in controlling the use of electric vehicle charging cables in order to protect them. Speed control of a wind turbine generator : It involves synthesizing a robust RST control for the speed of a wind turbine. Active balancing for electrical batteries based on multiple DC-DC converters A project aiming to facilitate the exchange of electrical energy between the cells and modules of the battery pack by controlling multiple Flybacks to ensure the balancing. Speed control of a parabolic antenna while ensuring its stability The control was performed using multiple techniques to compare the performance and robustness of the system for each case. Study and development of an intelligent simulation and diagnostic system for faults in the squirrel-cage asynchronous machine based on Labview and NI DAQs.
