Excel Macros to filter data
An Excel file that needs to be filtered. There are several categories of information that needs to be filtered at. For example there are 56 categories that needs to be filtered. So, an ideal solution would allow me to open each new file and run a macro to filter on each set of data elements I choose. For example I want to press CTRL +letter and have it automatically filter the data I need to be able to filter on tab 5, column C of the Product file. See attached Data Elements file that shows the data that needs to be filtered for each macro: I want to be able to press CTRL+letter and have the macro automatically filter the data above. Attached are 2 files: a data element files and a product file. Only the 5th tab needs to be filtered on (column C needs to be filtered per the attached Data Element file). I will need to be able to run this macro on new files as well. The data will not change on the file will change.
