I am working presently as Administrative Officer of a world leading non-profit organization since 2011. I have 20 years of experience in Admin/HR and Secretarial duties and functions. Worked for more than 3 years in a leading Non Governmental Organizations. Volunteered for social service projects and presently conducting English classes for students preparing for examinations. I am talented in business correspondence and related jobs as well to my credit with high competency in English language. I have submitted a number of articles for the websites and earned reputation. Some of them are of religious viewpoints, health,spiritual advancement, business relationship etc. I have contributed to publish handbooks, publications on various titles and volunteered for the issue of Children's publication with CHA, a leading Non Governmental Organization in Sri Lanka. Immensely contributed for social work with Sri Lanka Federation of Temperance Organization and IOGT Regional Council for South and South East Asia and personally involved in island wide workshops, public awareness programmes which are initiated sequel to World No Smoking Day programmes and created promotional banners and posters for such events, sponsored by WHO. Assisted for varied Administrative matters and prepared fund raising letters for foreign donor agencies for the Organization. Have very good knowledge and skills in preparation of project proposals, draft proposals and presentations for various organizations. I am well equipped with all computer packages and competent in Word and Excel other than using internet. Followed E-Commerce as special subject. I have more than 7 years experience in Plantation sector and have good knowledge in secretarial roles and accounting works. For nearly 8 years, I was occupied in hotel sector as HR Executive in a world leading hotel chain, ROBINSON CLUB BENTOTA and then again in other leading hotels such as GOLDEN SUN RESORTS and CLUB BENTOTA in HR field. In addition, my work experience in VILLA OCEAN VIEW,GOLDEN SUN RESORT Hotels and private sector organizations such as TECH WATERS LTD and HELANKA PLANTATIONS LTD further strengthened my potential to work. I am now committed employer for Sri Lanka Council of Religions for Peace affiliated to WCRP and do all project reports, financial reports, presentations and other documents other than my duties as Project Officer. I am well versed in Data Entry, Article Writing,Presentations, Excel, Search machines and all other works armed with typing skills of 60 WPM together with excellent communication and competency in English language.
