This is a page from the book " the old man and the sea", which was written by Hemingway. I have just finished reading it a few days ago. How should I say about it? How do we classify a book as a good book? I don't know. Everyone has their own judgement. So I am not going to say if this is a good book or not. All I can say is that this book makes me think a lot. My brain has been working a lot these days while reading it. Actually the entire book is just a soliloquy of an old man. Readers may find it really boring. Yes it may when it happens in reality. And it is tragic. I wonder if that old man is Hemingway. He thinks too much, lost too much. I don't know how to comment on books like this one, there are too much. Too much to be digested. If you classify a good book as one which helps readers to think, then I think maybe Hemingway 's the old man and the sea is a good book.
