A Review on Image Compression in Parallel using CUDA

Now a days images are prodigiously and sizably voluminous in size. So, this size is not facilely fits in applications. For that image compression is require. Image Compression algorithms are more resource conserving. It takes more time to consummate the task of compression. Utilizing Parallel implementation of the compression algorithm this quandary can be overcome. CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture) Provides parallel execution for algorithm utilizing the multi-threading.

Parallel Image Compression using CUDA with Median Filter

Images are becoming bulkier in size. This size is not physible for use with the many of the application. To make usable this bulkier image size must be reduced by image compression algorithm. Image Compression algorithms are resource and time conservative. Time can be reduced by the providing more resources to the compression algorithm. By Parallel execution this goal can be achieved. CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture) provides a platform for the parallel implementation of the algorithm.

A Hybrid Approach for Big Data Analysis of Cricket Fan Sentiments in Twitter

Twitter has become one of the most widely used social networks, and its popularity is increasing day by day. In this paper, we collected real-time tweets from Indian Cricket Team fans during the eight matches of ICC Cricket World Cup (CWC) 2015 using the social media twitter. We performed sentiment analysis on the tweets to test emotions of Indian Cricket Lovers. The analysis is based on the fact that the emotions of fans change frequently with each event.
