Customer service, Quotation and administrative assistant

After a six month maternity leave, I was asked to come back part time. My part time duties included covering any postions such as fax coordinator, customer service, receptionist, data entry and quotations that needed to be filled for the day/week due to sick or vacation days for other full time employees. I also helped with commissions, keeping our account list data base up to date, and any other odd projects the managers of customer service and quotations needed accomplished.

Fax Coordinator / Customer service

Feb 1998 - Feb 2006 (8 years)

Responsibilities included faxing purchase orders to manufacturers, distribution of incoming faxes and data entry of purchase orders and quotation requests. Also, maintaining operations of the fax machines which included ordering and refilling toner, drum and paper and scheduling technician maintenance when necessary. Before being promoted to customer service, I was required to train my replacement. Other clerical responsibilities included reception and filing. As a newly created position in the customer ser

Primary responsibilities included order entry of warehouse orders, invoicing and billing of shipped orders, data entry of purchase orders, data entry of recieved incoming inventory, posting of accounts receivable from delivery companies such as UPS and Special Services, data entry of new accounts, and credit book / returns check in.
