Chairman Seventy Seventy One Group March 2007 – Present (4 years) We are an investment synergy formed in 2007 to promote entrepreneurship in East Africa with a view of improving economic and social conditions of society in a sustainable way, leveraging knowledge and expertise of its members. The group’s key emphasis is to provide the stakeholders with investments opportunities in various sectors. We invest in early-stage and breakthrough ventures that have the promise to create new market opportunities based on hard research and analysis focusing on fundamentals with the appropriate trade-off between risk and reward. With Africa, formulating new political and economic policies aimed at making the continent more attractive for FDI inflows and new global economic trends and realities. 70.71 is playing a small part to provide adequate skills and technology especially to the micro-enterprise sector(MSEs) to leap frog them to SMEs and onto MSEs. Currently in Africa MSEs contributions to GDP ranges from about 15% to as high as 70% on goods and services offered.
