This is a small Visual Basic 6 HTTP server that enables users to pull a real-world prank similar to the very popular username:666 video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iFXyLah2oQ [NOTE: controversial and graphic imagery contained]). It was written more than 3 years ago, when I was 13 years old, and as so it does not currently reflect my skills. It was successfully used to pull a prank by a few dozen people. About Me
I am a student of the third year in Mathematical Gymnasium, Belgrade, Serbia. In my country I have earned several country-wide recognitions for my programming skills (proof of these statements is available on-demand). During the course of my programming career I have been focusing on next-gen 3D game development (C++, Lua, OpenGL, sometimes using FOSS engines such as Ogre, Horde3D, Irrlicht and Polycode), website design, development and management (design using Adobe Photoshop, client-side technologies including HTML, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, AJAX and jQuery and PHP-based server-side scripting, also moderate experience with Apache, mod_rewrite, mod_security, configuration etc.), basic operating system/kernel development (simple monolithic, x86-64-based, single-tasking kernel design and programming), network programming (good understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack and high-level protocols such as HTTP, FTP and SFTP, also network infrastructures and wired/wireless physical connectivity). I have also very good knowledge of object-oriented concepts and design patterns, and working in the game development areas I have developed advanced optimization skills such as optimizing for current processors and their cache behavior/memory latency, using the right data structures and algorithms (I have a good understanding of the underlying complexity theory regarding programming concepts). As I work primary with GNU/Linux I have very good understanding of the operating system and many free utilities provided by the GNU foundation, also scripting languages such as Perl, bash, awk et cetera, to some of which I have on several occasions slightly contributed. As I am a high-school student with no qualifications, and thus I am willing to work for a lower pay to build up my experience and brush up on my skills. I am also a person committed to jobs and very passionate about all kinds of computer programming and so I guarantee that I will be very responsible about any job that is presented before me.
