Overview: Typing Is EZ is a typing simulation game produced in Simulation Design I class at Columbia College Chicago by me, Jessica Borlovan, Cameron Cintron, and Michal Heintz. The goal of this simulation is to help its users keep their eyes off of their physical keyboard by providing them with one on the screen to help them memorize where most of the major keys are in a fun way. Waves of boxes will come across the screen (depending on which mode you play, single letters and symbols or words) and if the player types out or presses the right key then the boxes will get destroyed. Design Goals: Create a unique way to help the player keep their eyes off the keyboard Create an efficient way to help the player learn the layout of the keyboard Keep the art style simple to avoid any eye catching distractions My Role: Although I was able to touch quite a few fields in this project, my main role was to make sure everything came together and functioned properly.
