Online Production Update (OPU)
This Project was done for leading garment manufacturing company.The company had more than 7 plants over different areas in Sri Lanka and another plant in India. The central office of the company was in Ratmalana,Sri Lanka. OPU tracks the manufactured garment quantity and its good and bad percentage and sends that data to the central server in Ratmalana.A separate web UI is pulling those data and process and displays the information. I designed and built the following crucial components of the system. Web service was used to send the data from plant to central server. The web UI was written in PHP/Ajax/JavaScript/JQuery The Database was MSSQL and MySQL. Currently the Company\'s all the production data recording, storing, processing and displaying is done via the system Which is around 90% increase in efficiency compared to the Manual excel sheet filling method.
