I formed The Operating System 24 years ago as a micro-computer consulting company. We assembled our own computers for sale, did database programming, and generally serviced the business community as it was first discovering computers. We offered training classes on many computer software packages from accounting, office productivity, data base, graphics and design. As networking became the norm, we expanded our expertise into that area. As the internet took off, we again moved in that direction. Now, we find ourselves jacks of all trades and spend much of our time explaining all the complex interactions to clients who know their business yet need efficiency help.
