My clinical job and busy family life have refined my organisational skills! I am reliable, curious and keen to progress my writing portfolio beyond the trilogy of children's books I am in the process of publishing. As Associate Editor for the journal Injury, I spend many hours reviewing scientific manuscripts and interpreting independent reviews, as well as contributing to Editorial content. My interests lie in communicating complex medical language or problems to their target audience, whether that be patients, carers, doctors in training or colleagues. I enjoy the challenge of learning and understanding a new concept, with a view to be able to simplify it for others.
