Song - Captcha
This is the second song of my self-titled album (released under the name Hollow Island). It's an epic recorded using a Fender Telecaster and the Ableton Live program. Unlike "Theology of Maps," there is a fair amount of percussion and synth programming in this track, along with the guitar manipulation. This song was featured on blogTO's "Neighbourhood Mixtape" in October 2011. Here's what they had to say about it: "Hollow Island produces a shake-up of atmospheric noise and impressionistic ambience. "Captcha" stirs the mood with a haze of dreamy interference, but it's only one part of the bigger picture, a margin within the story that the entire LP holds for listeners. " The album can be found at http://hollowisland.bandcamp.com/.
