The Dynamic Park
The contest aims at selecting the best solutions for designing a sustainable contemporary park, with its own identity, a park that can be a landmark for the city, well integrated into Brasov’s green area. The site has a total area of 2.7 ha and it is situated in the North-West of the city centre, in a representative part/zone/neighbourhood for Brasov’s natural and build environment. Brasov is a city wellknown for it’s architecture and specific atmoshpere, a city with great personality that gathers tourists throughout the year. We decided to incorporate this important quality of the city in the new design. So the main ideea was to create a dynamic park, that can be active no matter the season. So, we decided that the main problems are regarding the types of activities that o park offers. The solution was to enlarge the activities shpere by creating objects and spaces that have a function during summer and then are able to convert during winter and integrate some winter activities.
