Show Us Your Type : London
SHOW US YOUR TYPE is a project about two things: type and cities. The project started to provide a creative platform for designers to share their talents and explore cities from a different perspective. The only requirement is to create a A3 poster that must contain the name of a specific city for each edition, and a typeface created by the designer. When talking about London is impossible not to think of the Tube/Metro and the iconic image created for the Underground system of the city. Since the initial concept that I wanted a very clean poster, where the main focus was the typeface created. Using the color code of all the metro lines and all the other graphic elements visually associated with the 'Tube' (line junctions, stations, etc.) the result was a very clean work, where the stark white background contrasts with the colorfull array of lines and shapes. The connection is immediately made by the observer. The best 100 posters were selected and featured in the website
