I am a freelancer with 10 years' experience in technical translation. I have been running my own one-person translation business for the last 5 years, focusing on the Polish market. I am currently looking for new opportunities abroad. I specialise in marketing and technical translation and proofreading, but over the years I have completed various other projects, from legal to academic to company documentation and publications. I hold a BA degree in American literature, and I have completed an MA programme in linguistics. I also have BA in Romance languages and literature (French). I work in Trados Studio 2011 and Across. I feel at ease using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) but I also work with online productivity tools (Google Docs). I love big cities but regularly take refuge in the countryside.
