I have a Bachelor of accounting degree obtained at the University of Johannesburg. I have 11 years’ experience in the engineering, manufacturing and ICT industries. My last position was with a listed entity With an annual Turnover of close to R1 billion. I have 5 years’ experience in a management level position. I have extensive experience with IFRS. In all my careers I have prepared financial statements in line with IFRS, I was responsible for budgeting and forecasting and ensuring that actual expenditure is inline with budgets and investigation variances and ensuring corrective action is taken. I have enterprise risk management experience utilizing the risk register tool to ensure that all risks to the entity are identified and prioritized according to impact and likelihood to ensure the appropriate risk handling strategy is followed also to ensure controls are in place to mitigate the risks. I have advanced knowledge of MS office including pivots, macros, vlookups, VBA etc.
