Paul Bray is a British freelance journalist based in London. <br><br>He joined Personal Computer Magazine as a staff writer in 1988. He was deputy editor of Which Computer? for two years before going freelance in 1991, since when he has written for The Daily and Sunday Telegraph, The Times, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, and many magazines including Computing, Computer Weekly, Director and Nasdaq International.<br><br>He has contributed to the Hutchinson Encyclopaedia and Almanac, and to books for the Corporate Research Foundation. He also undertakes advertising and PR work, and has written f or blue-chip companies including Microsoft, IBM, BT, Hewlett-Packard, Cunard, Lloyds TSB, Nissan and Foreign & Colonial, as well as chairing and producing conferences. <br><br>Although much of his writing is still in the field of ICT, he also has experience in business, employment, personal finance, travel, biotechnology and the natural sciences.<br><br>Paul was born in Kent and schooled at Dulwich College. After voluntary work in Morocco for Save the Children he read Modern History at St John's College, Oxford, where he graduated with first class honours in 1982.<br><br>He lives in southeast London with his wife and daughters..
