I have both a passion and a talent for writing and my work is at once succinct, articulate and stylish. I have a degree in English and Philosophy from The University of Sheffield and an Ma in Philosophy from the same institution. I am somewhat of an expert in 20th century European Metaphysics, having absorbed and digested the work of Heidegger, Derrida, Levinas and Sartre amongst other post-structuralsist, postmodernist and existential thinkers. My grounding in Metaphysics and Ontology equips me with a sharp and articulate insight into the world around me. I understand the contemporary western environment as well as the drives and conflicts which motivate human beings. This knowledge informs my writing and my entire creative and analytic perspective. I have experience writing copy for the Internet and extensive experience writing about film, literature and philosophy. I write a monthly film column for the Northern Cultural publication 'Now Then'. I also write poetry and fiction.
