Airbus A320 Flight Computer's Automatic Test Bench
The A320 series Aircraft is the most used airplane on the planet. This project is definitely the most representative of my experience as a TestBench Engineer. In the avionics field the Airborne Electronics Control System is the main system of control for the aircraft and it must be redesign every 10 years to prevent electronic component obsolescence under the DO-254 Norm. It consists of an exploded manual test bench that reproduce each flight computer's digital an analog signal. An Agilent switch and measurement control unit and an Agilent programmable generator both controlled by a LabView program to simulate input signal, route inputs/outputs and measure outputs signals. This LabView Program has a human machine interface which allows designers to easily perform test and a sequencer that record test sequences, store them in files and play them at the time of automatically perform the tests of a whole computer and his functions.
