Web-based system including research and development
A web-based system working on Agouza and Dokki map to guide tourists to reach specific destinations through the shortest path and to search for the nearest services around specific places such as hotels, banks and clubs. The system also provides some pictures and description for the touristic places in both Agouza and Dokki. A new algorithm was developed to find the shortest path between two places. The system and the algorithm were evaluated in terms of both response time and accuracy. Technologies used: Java, Java Script, HTML, PostgreSQL,Map Server, Quantum GIS
About Me
My experience covers different business areas including Oil & Gas, Education, Finance, ERP industries with good knowledge in Big Data Analytics. I have worked in different organizations acting in various roles in public sector, private national and international companies. I have been working as a teaching assistant in the faculty of computers and information, Cairo University since August 2007 in addition to working as well in the private sector. I worked as a development engineer in the center for data mining and computer modeling, worked as junior/senior/lead developer in a private company called Advantek International Corp. in both Egypt and USA. Working in these places enriched me with the skills of knowing different business areas, updated with the new development technologies, research and teaching skills and the most important skill: how to deal with people in the most suitable way. I hold a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science From Cairo University in Egypt , and soon I will finish my M.Sc. in Computer Science from Cairo University as well.
