The Global Plant Council (GPC) is a not-for-profit network that seeks to bring together plant and crop science societies from around the world to work synergistically towards solving some of the world's most pressing problems. As Outreach & Communications Manager, my role is to promote the work of the GPC and its member organizations. I am also a project manager for the Plant Knowledge Hub, an ambitious digital project to create an online portal of global news, research, funding opportunities, teaching and learning resources and more.

Field Vegetables Review is an annual publication from the Horticultural Development Company (HDC) that provides an overview of all research funded by HDC in the preceding year. While working for HDC during a 3-month contract, it fell to me to write the content for the 2013 issue of Field Vegetables Review. See

GARNish 20th Edition
I was the editor for this newsletter, the biannual newsletter for GARNet, the UK's Arabidopsis research network. As well as commissioning and editing all content, I wrote pieces for the News and Views section, and the introduction to the Data Mining with iPlant article, obtained and edited all images/photographs, and used InDesign to layout the newsletter.
