I very rarely use If you would like to discuss a project, please google Lisa A Martin Freelance to find me. I am leaving my account open here to preserve the positive feedback I have collected over the years. I also have a side line in investigating fake Freelancer accounts, which I would not be able to do so easily without my own live account. Why am I leaving Freelancer? Because I am a professional, experienced, native English speaking writer and editor, and this is not the place for me. With a few exceptions, many of the so-called writers and editors you will find on this site are inexperienced and unskilled. Many will try to convince you that they can do the job you require, when they absolutely cannot. Often, your awarded project will be subcontracted out to other inexperienced, unskilled "writers and editors". Some Freelancer users lie about their country of origin or their qualifications and experience. Some use Google Translate to convince you of their linguistic skills. Some plagiarise their profile information from the profiles and websites of other, genuine freelance professionals. Some steal work from other people and sell it on without regard for copyright or intellectual property. I've had enough!
