Autumn /Winter collection 2012/2013
The collection is inspired by Middle Ages, period of European history between the fall of the Roman Empire in the 5th century and the Renaissance in the 15th. Luxury was at its height when gold and silver, pearls and precious stones were lavished on clothes and dresses. Dresses were embroidered and richly decorated, mostly with lace, pearls and old gold buttons. Materials are heavy and rich- stuff, plush, brocade, wool-work knitting, cotton...Clothing pieces follow the line of the body and the emphasis is on perfect cut. About Me
Responsible, reliable and professional person who has a passion for writing, travelling and art. During the study at Belgrade University I attended many courses and art workshops, mainly on journalism, photography and costume design. I also gained further work experience through voluntary placements and freelance submissions. Since graduating from university I worked in fashion industry, which has expanded my knowledge and also fuelled my passion for it. I gained experience working in many areas: identify target markets for designs, confer with sales and management executives or with clients in order to discuss design ideas, drawing and cutting patterns and constructing samples or finished garments, sketch rough and detailed drawings of apparel or accessories, and write specifications such as color schemes, construction, material types, and accessory requirements, select materials and production techniques to be used for products, appearance at a fashion event in order to promote my own work and competition research, edit pages on social networks. I have travelled extensively over the last few years and it is my main passion in life, besides art and writing. I have travelled around many different countries in Europe, lived in America and as I intend to travel further in the next few years, freelance jobs fits seamlessly into my lifestyle.
