Landon Wicker In The library
I was contracted by a local publisher to do a series of illustrations that would be used as promotional material for the release of a book called the The Chronicles of Landon Wicker. The illustrations done for the job were not colored but I decided to color a few of the ones that I liked the most. This is the first of those illustrations. It depicts Landon in a library unlocking his psychokinetic ability.

Hello, my name is Mike. I'm freelance illustrator based out of Denver Colorado. I have been drawing for a majority of my life. I sought to learn as much as I could about drawing, illustration, and design. After high school, I attended Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design and obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts Illustration. During my time at RMCAD I studied under many seasoned professionals in many areas of the illustration industry such as editorial illustration, comic/sequential art, children's books, cover illustration, character design and more. I'm an artist of the modern age and I take full advantage of that. I often begin my illustrations traditionally and complete the image through the use of photoshop or illustrator.
