It is a small autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) designed to enable extended-endurance missions. The lightweight Spray Glider operates unlike traditional AUVs. Instead of using its power supply to drive propellers, the Spray uses its power to change its buoyancy, using a hydraulic pump, enabling it to glide forward in an up-and-down sawtooth pattern.

In this comprehensive project, we took on the challenge of reverse engineering a shampoo bottle. We imported the available drawing images of the shampoo bottle into SOLIDWORKS, utilizing them as a reference for our sketches. These images served as essential blueprints, guiding us in the careful creation of the 3D model. Each view of the drawing was imported into corresponding View Plane. We carefully drew sketches, following the profile of the shampoo bottle as shown in the imported images and paid close attention to every detail, including curves, angles, and proportions, to ensure the accuracy of the final 3D model.

Optimal shape configuration for combined duct and Coanda effect vehicle are worked out by analyzing effect of Coanda surface shape parameters and gap between the duct and the Coanda surface. Finally a design of a UAV based on these optimized parameters is presented which also addresses the problem of countering reaction torque from a single rotor and establishes mechanism for stability, positional and translational control followed by analysis of this UAV in Crosswind conditions to work out its lift performance at varying speeds and it is compared to performance of a simple ducted fan in similar flow regime.
