This is the logo for Institute of Language & Literature of Malaysia (DBP), [http://www.dbp.gov.my], the government body responsible for coordinating the use of the Malay language in Malaysia and Brunei. DBP publishes the Kamus Dewan, for many years the prestige dictionary of the Malaysian national language. The dictionary is not only descriptive, but rather it is also prescriptive, as it represents the results of the efforts of DBP to adapt the Malay language to accommodate the challenges of technology and science. I, as a professional translator, will always refers to them for any new Malay terminology, terms, or words. Even I usually use their online dictionary for better reference during translation works, thus to ensure the quality of my translations is 100% guaranteed and without any machine/google translations, except for SDL Trados (for memory).
