The Word is an online English journal based at the University of Antioquia. The journal offers a platform for English professors and students at the university to express themselves creatively and to share. In addition, the journal hopes to provide a useful resource for people currently studying English. The journal will accept articles focusing on education, ESL research topics, classroom tips, personal experiences with English or English learning, cultural differences, local events/ news, original fiction, and art/music reviews. Although the primary focus of the journal is ESL education, any topic that might prove interesting and culturally relevant will be considered.
