Narcissus | Director
Narcissus tells of a film director, Lynn, who is unaware of who she is or what she really wants, yet filled with expectations about the men in her life, be it the clueless boyfriend, uncaring father, or the suave actor who seems like the perfect man. In the end, as that fragile shroud of perfect reality falls apart, Lynn is forced to face the tragic consequences of a self-constructed illusion within an illusion.
Me concernant
Linh Duong is a young Vietnamese filmmaker who bases herself in Singapore. For the past 3 years, she has been producing and directing fiction and documentary films around South East Asia. Linh believes in the universal language of Cinema and her work is often infused with a passionate, political discourse. Her recent experimental film, 'Touch', was an official selection for 'In focus' program at Yxine Film Festival 2012, Vietnam. Her latest documentary, 'Nine Dragons River', was a winner at the 3rd ASEAN-Korea Multimedia Competition in July 2011. Her films have also been showcased around Asia, including the Palais de Seoul Gallery, South Korea; Sinema Old School, Singapore; and the Vietnamese National TV Channel One, Vietnam.
