Beyonce "Once In A Lifetime"
I co-wrote and produced this track for Beyonce. It featured on the soundtrack to the film "Cadillac Records" in which she played Etta James. It received nominations at the Golden Globe's 2009 and The Grammy's 2010.
About Me
Golden Globe and Grammy Nominated Writer/Producer/Programmer Jody Street has recorded artists from Tom Jones to Beyonce. Starting his career as a runner at a Primrose Hill studio, gradually progressing to engineer and program on records for artists such as The Sugababes, KT Tunstall, Neneh Cherry, Tom Jones and Jamelia. Jody then teamed up with co-engineer James Dring to form Hip Hop/Pop production duo \"The Rural\". The Rural have written / produced / mixed for Beyonce (on Golden Globe and Grammy nominated song \"Once in a Lifetime\"), Rizzle Kicks, Lana Del Rey, Tha Alkaholiks, Cut Chemist, Mattafix, Leon Jean Marie, Doc Brown, Gym Class Heroes and Princess Superstar amongst others. Sound to picture work includes writing and producing content for Skins (Channel 4), Adidas x Footlocker campaign and writing and producing the theme for Journeyman (Fox T.V) a U.S based drama series.
