Ms. Janet Neice is an Assistant Director of Global Public Health st the University of Michigan School of Public Health. She provides coordination, direction and oversight of global public health activities across the School of Public Health (SPH). Ms. Neice collaborates with faculty and students across SPH departments engaged in global public health curriculum development, research, knowledge exchange, and program delivery. Previously, Ms. Neice was a Consultant in the Emerging Markets Segment with Deloitte Consulting LLP (formerly under BearingPoint), where she was involved in the management of economic development and public sector reform projects. In addition to project management, Ms. Neice was actively involved in new business development for Emerging Markets. She managed multi-million dollar, donor-funded business development opportunities, provided technical input specific to management and staffing of proposed engagements, and prepared cost proposals. Ms. Neice was the content lead on the effort to create a Project Managements approach (methodology for an Emerging Markets PMO) to provide specific techniques, processes, and standardized templates for delivering successful proposals and engagements. Ms. Neice holds an MA in International Affairs from The George Washington University, a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, and is fluent in Russian.
