I came up with a new version of the tangram puzzle. With the new shapes, you can create the numbers 1-9. To display the created shapes as actual digits, I designed a booklet that consisted of 10 frames with the digits "burnt" into your eye. All frames are bound together with a screw at the top left corner for easy swivel rotation. These images were printed on transparency and when the images together are held against the light, you experience a blurry image reflective of a cataract. Cataract was the design theme of this project. The tangram puzzle and booklet were packaged nicely in a clear seamless plastic box.
