Aquarius A2 club, Zagreb, 2007-2008.
The project provided a major extension to one of the most famous clubs in Zagreb. It involved development of a rather complex steel structure of the building envelope, experimentation with various alternative materials in interior design and total design of all the furniture, complemented with some of the best designer products. Main theme are lines and edges, creating a specific "statement" when interacting with users. Moreover, the space being oriented axially toward the shore of a nearby lake, also lets the surrounding nature pass through the numerous side windows/slots creating echoes in a form of stylized tree columns and white plaster foliage. Lake shore terrace is organized modulary and provides various seating configurations according to the club programme, as well as a large open air bar with a long, sleek steel counter.
