2003-Present: Owner, Blue Lantern, Inc.
Software development in multiple platforms for multiple clients.
2000 – 2003: Chief Technology Officer, MultiMark Communications, Inc
I have identified, planned and created the ApartmentMatch product line built using ColdFusion, ASP, Visual Basic, SQL Server, and C++. I have experienced all levels of projects from the initial idea development to the graphics to make look and work correctly. At MultiMark, I have expanded upon my MS-SQL Server, Networking, and DHTML scripting abilities.
• Utilized the power of SQL Server and Oracle to make our systems scalable and robust
• Created web interfaces for common software used by property management companies such as: AMSI, Yardi, and Rent Roll
• Created an internal project and time tracking system
• Planned, setup and maintained a server farm
• Wrote over 10 web portals
• Lead and wrote over five extranet integration applications for various clients and industries, including: Lincoln Property Company, Newell Rubbermaid, and FirstWorthing properties
1998 – 2000: Director of Internet Technical Development, Vectrix Corporation
I created web-based applications using MS SQL Server, Visual Basic, ASP, ColdFusion, BroadVision, Oracle, Sybase and FoxPro. I also trained my staff of over twenty developers in SQL Server, ASP, and ColdFusion.
• Database and script coding for scoreboard sites that received over one million hits in an hour
• Created location and distant searches calculated of longitude and latitude and compensating for the curvature of the earth
• Integrated multiple systems and platforms
1997 – 1998: Database Applications Developer, HRC Armco
I was a computer programmer/analyst for an accounting intranet that I helped create and maintained. It was written in ASP and VB with a FoxPro database, using Crystal Reports for reporting. I also normalized their current Database structure and implemented a new design to increase response times for all their systems.
• Programmed COM objects written in VB
• Used scripting and pre-compiled programming to create scalable applications
1995 –1997: Web Application Developer, TAMU Multimedia Services
I programmed Visual Basic executables, a popular CGI method at the time. I also learned and created Multimedia presentations for the web by creating JAVA applets. Best skills learned in this environment:
• Project Management
• CGI
• Database and ANSI SQL theories

## Area of Expertise
ColdFusion using Microsoft SQL Server is my favorite. However, I have a lot of experience with ColdFusion using Oracle and mySQL.
I also have extensively used and consider myself very knowledgeable in ASP and PHP.
I am also very familiar and comfortable with VisualBasic and Borland C++. If I need to write a COM object or a program that runs nightly on a machine, I will do it in VB as it is quick to code and easy to put in error checking an alerts. I have not used C that much in about ten years as I have found other ways to do things, although it used to be my favorite language.
