Most people who run your ads cannot touch your website, and most developers do not understand what makes an ad convert. I do both, which means I can follow the money the whole way: from the search someone types, to the ad they click, to the page they land on, to whether they actually enquire. What that looks like in practice: on a recent Google Ads account I cut the cost per conversion from around RM16 to under RM12 and lifted the conversion rate from 8 percent to roughly 19 percent, mostly by finding the broad keywords that were quietly eating the budget and rebuilding the targeting around the terms that actually sold.
