I am an experienced translator of English to Spanish.
I have experience in audiovisual translation (subtitling and software localization). I am currently working for several free software projects (Mozilla, OpenOffice and LibreOffice) contributing in the Spanish localization of apps, support documentation for developers and users and web pages of products, write posts for the Community blog and manage social media profiles; I also help translating and reviewing subtitles for TED talks.
I acquired a BA in English language and literature at Granada University (Spain), going on to complete a MA in Audiovisual Translation: Dubbing, Subtitling and Localization at Cádiz University (Spain). I also acquired several postgraduate courses in Media Analysis, Project Management, and Local Development and Social Policies.

My rates for translation are $ 0.12 /word, $ 0,7/subtitle, and I can translate a volume of 700 words per day.
