JOHN PAUL UY is a concept artist. At early age, he started his career as a book illustrator in a well recognized publishing company. Amazed and inspired by the beauty of concept arts, he found himself improving his skill in digital painting. After a number of years in publishing, John Paul embarked on a new career path where he could improve his skills in computer generated design. He was hired as a concept artist in an online gaming company. There, he has found more avenues to exercise his skills in creative expression by designing characters, painting posters, and texturing UV maps for 3D models. John Paul also does some traditional artworks such as charcoal, pencil, and color pencil portraits while sipping a venti frappuccino at a trendy cafe.
