Batelco Group
Batelco Group is a corporate website made for Batelco Telecommunication Company. Using ASP.NET 3.5 and the MS SQL Server, I made a CMS that is specialised for Batelco’s needs, with common CMS features like managing the content for two languages (English & Arabic). The client can easily broadcast newsletter emails to subscribers by simply publishing the press releases. The CMS on the back-end sends segments of emails based on defined time intervals, and can also manage blocked emails whenever someone chooses to unsubscribe through the link provided on the newsletter template. I worked on the back-end to make sure that the CMS is secure, easy to use, and has best performance. For the front-end, I worked on making sure that the html/css/javascript worked were fully functional on the most common web browsers including IE6 and above, Firefox, Safari and Chrome. I also ensured I reduced the page and script size to the very max.
