I practised as a Solicitor for nearly 18 years, running my own Firm specialising in Criminal Law for the last 6 of that career. My great ambitions were to teach, research and write - and also have a work / life balance which was not based on work alone - so got my qualification, and now teach History and Law, at various levels at a great FE college. I do a little private tutoring, and some research and writing - just as I planned as a boy!
