ABOUT HG HG is a small graphic design company based out of Sugar Land, TX. Started in 2001 then officially started as a registered business in 2003 under it's sole owners Matthew and Beena Hartman. OUR SERVICES We offer graphic design services to both companies large and small to the individual working on a custom project. We have over 20 years of combined graphic design and website design/programming experience, skill and talent. We serve the needs of specific demands and changing trends, yet our services are highly affordable. WHY OUR SERVICES ARE AFFORDABLE HG competes with so many competitors, from large graphic design and marketing firms to local chain print/"graphic design" centers such as Kinko's. (who can charge as much as $100/hr just to add a simple graphic to a business card) We even compete with online web builders that suggest it's simple to "build it yourself". What's hidden in these services is you have to sit through hours of sluggish script editors or deal with overpriced service representatives. Results tend to be less than satisfactory and often you leave the project with more anxiety than you had coming in. Even worse, you leave with your pockets empty. Additionally, many competitors mark up their services considerably because in many cases its hard to put a price on raw talent. Though that may be true and certainly professionalism can be measured, we feel that it causes a "blind fold" effect to paying customers. Like when the mechanic tells you your radiator needs to be replaced when you went in for a simple oil change. You're not a mechanic, so you opt to get it fixed and pay for a service that you dont need. What makes HG so affordable is simple. We have no overhead. No overly lofty state of the art office building, no overpriced employees and virtually zero waste.
