This client is a camera hire company who needed an online service in order to manage the company's rentals and to take rentals from other their customers. I installed and set up a rental system and heavily modified the PHP code in order to meet their needs. I investigated a solution in order for their clients to browse Geelong Camera Hire's inventory and to book their items, and I quoted and created it in order to provide the most logical and functional system. This had to include a streamlined experience for the buyer, but also for the staff to manage the orders. The company had specific calculations and scenarios for different price brackets for different days of the week selected by the customer. The Joomla CMS contains a great backbone for the entire system. The wide variety of useful plugins and user management makes managing the rentals a breeze.
