Education: I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Delaware [1965] [Included courses in English composition and creative writing], a Master of Divinity Degree from Princeton Theological Seminary [1968] [Included courses in scholarly papers and writing for public expression], and a Doctor of Ministry [4 year earned Doctorate] from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary [1987] [Included writing research papers and a 260 page Doctoral Dissertation which received academic honors for the writing]. Experience: I am an experienced writer having written over 1900 sermons and speeches in the span of 40 years. I have written copy for websites. I have designed brochures and written copy for those. I have written numerous news stories and newspaper articles. I have been told many times that I am an engaging and inspiring writer. I have been involved in writing policy documents for the Presbyterian Church (USA) – a major national denomination. I am a novice to freelance writing. As I enter retirement from active ministry I am seeking to employ my writing experience and talent as a freelance writer.
