Pakistan’s Foreign Policy Towards Russia in Multi-polar World Order: Challenges and Opportunities

This dissertation examines evolving elements of Pakistan’s relations with Russia and how multi-polarity affects this relationship. As Kenneth Waltz “Structural realism” postulates that, “states act according to international structure and system”. In this way, Pakistan’s perceptions and approach deeply affected by international order.

Competing Interests of Russia and China towards Central Asia.

This paper explores the “competing interests of Russia and China in Central Asia; in order to gain influence”, in the region. And gives the answer of Central Asian vulnerability to external powers; as its internal disturbances and weaknesses invite external actor to act. And finally demonstrates the similarities between both these states; Russia and China are actually the real reason which led them towards competition.

India's Economy, its Trump card.

This essay focuses on India’s moves to evolve as an economic power. This tectonic shift from conservative to liberal economy matters a lot not just for India but also for the developing world, global institutions and for great power relationships. The first half of this essay deals with Indian economic development which is divided among three phases; search for an economic policy (1947-1966), autocracy and socialism (1966-1990), globalization and interdependence(1990 onward).
