Objective: To obtain a position with a well established competitive company. To work within an organization who will allow me to utilize my knowledge and experience as a Paralegal to excel both myself as well as the company. Experience: RM Innovations February 2005-December 2007 I worked with the partners of this large consulting company to construct legal and adequate contracts for use with their clients. I made sure the documents were all typed to meet the requirements of the contracts while working within many deadlines needed for signatures. United States Navy Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Camp Pendleton California Dec. 1993 - May 2004 Leading Petty Officer Internal Medicine Clinic Managed and maintained the largest clinic at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton including over 100 subordinates. Duties were but not limited to maintaining a strict budget the clinic operated on, supplies, billing, scheduling for both patients and staff, insurance procedures, medical transcribing, medication monitoring and ordering, safety and infection control procedures, maintaining top level customer satisfaction. Also was in charge of all training of new employees. Hill Crest Behavioral Hospital Psychiatric Technician Birmingham Alabama June1989- May 1993 Served as a psychiatric technician for children, adolescents, and adults. Duties were but not limited to counseling, behavior monitoring, and reporting all information to the patient’s primary psychiatrist. I also served as Customer Service Representative. Education: Virginia College Paralegal Associates Degree March 2006 – December 2008 I obtained my associates degree while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA. Legal classes included legal research, writing, and a variety of classes related to the many types of law. I also took several office classes that allowed me to improve my proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs. With the combination of these classes I was able to build an excellent portfolio containing all the legal documentation I created while earning my degree. Naval School of Health Science Certificate San Diego California Aug. 1992-July 1993 Psychiatric Technician I obtained National Certification in Psychiatric monitoring and counseling. Petty Officer Indoctrination Certificate Camp Pendleton California Aug. 1993 - Sep. 19 Leadership course for the United States Navy after being appointed Petty Officer Course taught leadership skills in order to maintain and lead subordinate troops.
